The minor passport fee 2026 applies to applicants below 18 years. The Gazette minor category lists 36-page rows only.

How to read Tatkaal passport fee
The Tatkaal column is labelled inclusive of Normal fee. Use the Tatkaal amount as the full fee for that row.
Example: adult 36-page Tatkaal fee is ₹5,000. Avoid adding ₹2,500 again.
A fee row alone never confirms Tatkaal eligibility. Passport Seva asks Tatkaal applicants to check eligibility and submit extra documents.
10% discount for eligible fresh applications
Fresh applications from eligible applicants get 10% passport fee discount. The eligible groups are minors up to age 8 and senior citizens above age 60. Reissue applications are excluded.
