Corrections in the Aadhar Card
Aadhaar number is a 12-digit random number provided by the UIDAI (“Authority”) to residents of India who have completed the Authority's verification process. Anyone who is a resident of India, regardless of age or gender, can freely enrol to receive an Aadhaar number. During the enrollment process, the person who wishes to enrol must supply basic demographic and biometric information.
List of Identity Proofs – Documents Required for Aadhar Card Corrections.
Depending on what needs to be changed, a different set of documents may be required. However, some general documents remain the same, such as:-
- A photo identification card from a recognised educational institution.
- Service photo ID cards issued by a public utility. NREGS job card no.
- The Indian government issues photo identification cards.
- Either a Ration or a PDS Photo card is required.
- A voter identification card is required.
- The applicant's driver's licence.
- Photo of an ATM card from a bank.
- Certificate of Arms.
- The PAN card
- Passport
